Poor Audrey had her shots this morning. sad That was at 11am and she's still asleep. I am torn between waking her up or letting her sleep. sad I felt really bad for her when we held her down for the shots in her little meaty thighs....the look she gave me when they stabbed them into her was horrible. hit

Oh geeze... I have to take Carly for hers next Thursday.. She has to have 4 of them, plus they have to redo the "Newborn" heel stick because the one they took at the hospital when she was born wasn't viable.  So she gets poked 5 times.. I am NOT looking forward to it. I will be taking the whole box of Kleenex with me.... hit

Me & Hubby with our first child, a daughter born on August 27th 2011.  1 dog, 1 cat and SQ silkies in Black, Buff, Splash, White, and Blue. Along with a barnyard mix of large fowl. Oh, and 1 hermit crab..

Bill took Luke for his first set, but I took him for his second, and it was soo sad. When she stuck him he froze and had this look like "WTH just happened!" Then he started screaming and the tears started rolling and he turned all red. I felt soo bad for him! We have to do his 6 month shots in a few weeks, plus his Flu shot.... I'm already dreading it. sad

I may ask them if they will let me break this up into 2 visits a week apart. I'm thinking maybe it wouldn't be so rough on her as far as the drug cocktail is concerned.... But it may not make a difference of 2 versus 4 at a time idunno

Why four? I guess Audrey got 4 vaccines, too...but one was an oral syrup stuff and then one shot in each thigh and then another shot in her left thigh. sad Me and my MIL held her down and then two nurses each gave a shot at once. sad
