Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out. - Page 471

I have not updated on my pregnancy for a long time.  I don't spend a lot of time here any more.  But with that said, I am now 20 weeks and 4 days pregnant with a healthy and very active baby.  Things have been difficult because for some reason this baby wants me to think the worst and be scared all the time (LOL sarcastic).  I had my 20w scan on Monday and all is well.  I have only gained 3 pounds -- so far so good on that front. :)

I also haven't been back to post on here in a little while... I think I am almost 36 weeks now, I am getting all hyper aware of all the things I still have to do, and I can't express how tired I am of acid indigestion. Please tell me it goes away the second you give birth!!!! I am finally pooping out, getting too swollen, sore and tired to do all I used to do. But ultimately everything has gone pretty well, no issues with the pregnancy at least.

Glad to hear you'll be trying reveriereptile- I can't wait for you to get pregnant, you're so prepared!

As I near the end of my first pregnancy I can't help but wish I could pass on this blessing to those of you who struggle with fertility and have had to face miscarriages, I don't know why its so easy for some of us and so tough for others; I hate that I can't do much to help. I wish you the best and must confess you are stronger than I would be; I just couldn't face those problems more than once. I encourage you to continue in your strength and pursue what you desire most, not to be dismayed by what ifs or the possibility of potential dangers, God just works things out despite the odds sometimes.

I have a good husband, a new baby boy, a few ducks, one beautiful goose and a big family. Life is pretty good.

I am 34 weeks now-getting close! I always need to be induced, and my ultrasound showed the baby was measuring almost two weeks ahead, so I probably only have 3-4 weeks left to go now! This is our fifth baby too.

I am headed for my first day back to work this morning after 12 weeks of maternity leave hit.gif Even though pregnancy can be difficult, take a moment today to appreciate how beautiful it really is. Believe it or not, you will actually miss it.

Well my husband and me tried the ovulation kit and in a couple of weeks we should know if I am pregnant or will be trying again.

I did start taking the gummy prenatal vitamins even though I do need to take the iron and calcium separate. I can't swallows pillows to good and heard that the gummy ones taste good and don't make you as sick. I read around and seen some people were told to take two Flintstones gummies that kept getting sick from the others. Anyone else take them? Seems like it would be easier since they have the iron and calcium in them as far as I know.

I went to a baby shower yesterday and someone brought their month old baby boy with them. I had to hold him. He was so cute but wiggly. Made me even want a baby that much more. Does having a certain gender run in a family? I know my husband's family on his dad's side seem to have a boy first. I know the male sperm is faster but was just wondering. I would love a boy.

I took the Flinstones chewables last time and this time I'm taking the generic adult gummies.  I tried the Flinstone gummies, but they're really hard to chew and don't taste great.  I like the other ones better and my doctor said either one is fine.

I can't take regular prenatal vitamins without getting sick, so I use the gummies too. I like the Flintstones, but I really like the "Lil'Critter Gummy Vites." They are soft and chewy, and they taste better than any others I have tried!

THat is so kindly expressed. Infertility is a terrible thing- and while adoption is a joy, its not an easy process either. But no matter how hard the path, I would travel it a thousand times for my daughter (now 2.5 years old.) I try and remember that as we wait and wait and wait for number 2. I hope our baby find us soon but I know that it will be worth the wait and worth the struggle!!!

We are hoping to expand our family through open adoption.
