didn't get a pic of my black hen.. Put her out in the breeding pen with my black phoenix roo.. why not..smile

OK.. I THINK I AM GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE ME AN OHIKI PAINTING NOW.. PROBABLY WILL NEED MORE THAN ONE COLOR.. MAYBE A WHOLE FLOCK OF THEM.. I'M THINKING WATERCOLORS....HMMM. GORGEOUS OHIKI PIC RUSTY!!

Yep ol Amanda is good now. I've seen her work on the wall at Toni's a time or two now looks great, pics never do the justice thats for sure. Have plans to get one or two my self this spring....Amanda, might have to change breeds now for it though HAHAHA.

The longest tailed of the shojos is the  cockerel on the roost. The  other one is the one Toni had pics of over on  onagadori. He just molted and is getting in his new stuff now. Will be his first adult molt so he should be something else when he gets done. Toni said 2 foot on tail is nothing for them and about average with saddles dragging a good bit.

Thanks onagadori......This isn't an Ohiki...it's a Barred Japanese that I did.....it's the closest other photo I have to a Longtailed breed.....http://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/uploads/69973_japanese_bantams_005.jpg

I wondered if that was your Chris...I knew you had them going.. That'll be a great day once they are done. After seeing those Toni had going and some of the pics of yours, looks like it wont be much longer. Good luck to you on them, I'll be jealous for sure. Millie and porcelain are 2 of my top  colors.
