Ok, so the feather coloring has nothing to do with it...cool! Yeah, their combs are really small and yellow, same as the Silkie mixes (small combs) but we all know how they can surprise you!  tongue  Thank you....I will get pics of Sally when I get back from Ohio.

That's what I've heard, but I haven't found it yet.  It's looking like we'll be doing it ourselves.  smile

I thought I'd share the photos I took at the Ohio National yesterday.  Again I must say it is a good thing I don't live in this state anymore  lol  though people have told me that is a poor excuse since I could airship the birds home lol.

Emma has decided we must have some Modern Game Bantams for our flock so I guess you can add them to my "wants" for the thread.  I also would love to find some Porecelin D'Uccles and bearded Japanese Bantams.  I had no idea they existed.  All pullets of course  big_smile

Will anyone possibly have an LF buff cochin roo for the spring swap? I know it's too early to tell for sure but does anyone think they might have one? I'm wondering if I should order a chick now or just hold out for the swap and get a roo then.
Thanks!

LF Buff and B/B/S Cochins. White, buff and b/b/s Silkies. Bantam frizzled cochins. Must. stop. hatching. eggs.........

Are you coming to the show in Chehalis?  Sheryl Butler has LF buff cochins, and I am currently 'chicken sitting' a pair which are going to a lady I show with... they are nice!  I'm certain she has extra boys... but she lives in Renton, WA..

Thanks for the response. I don't think I can make it to the Chehalis show unfortunately. I think though, that I should wait until Spring to get a grown up roo. I'm a bit out of room as it is, so I need to build some bigger pens. It is good to know there are some semi local.
