also the wattles on the male are bigger than the female, yours might be too young to tell that way though

Mine are buckwheating already and they are only 10 weeks old. From what I heard, the males never make the buckwheat noise, so that's the best way to tell if they aren't full grown yet. So I've heard, anyways!
