Hi guys Im a new member and new to chickens. How long do fresh laid eggs approximately keep after they are laid? In other words after i collect them from the nest box and put in the fridge, how many days or weeks can I expect to keep the eggs fresh and edible? Any handling / processing tip or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

This question was just asked on here.  They keep for months really in the fridge and about a month out on the counter.  You need to search Mother Earth News for the study they did.  The link is on here somewhere from today.
