Tips on getting Game Wardens on the ball?

I know that hunting deer with dogs is illegal at least here is NY and PA, I am not sure about other animals. I know in the south they hunt wild boars with dogs.

It is wierd that a coyote would go after a horse if there are deer around. Deer are easier prey and the coyotes are less likely to get wounded hunting deer.

they don,t get it as much in thee east but once a yote tastes horse flesh they will act like the OP has described.

the best trap I have ever seen for yotes was not really a trap it was a really large piece of drain tile 14-18" in diameter maybe 12'-15' long, one end was laying against a hill the other end got buried at the bottom of the mound of dirt, kina a windbreak the amish I was working for I had made friends with their son at a job site I was on. He was showing me where he hunted and trapped he mentioned they had been losing chickens and could find no trace of them as he and I were walking along I heard something I started climbing the windbreak looked down in the pipe there were 2 coyotes that could not get back out of the PVC pipe because their nails slipped on the pipe they could get no traction we dispatched both of them, after digging up the pipe we found the chickens which had attracted the yotes in the first place we reset the "trap" they have been using it ever since . The Amish seemed really genuinely / nice / hospitable folks to me

There are 2 reasons for the coyote attacks...New Jersey and New York. Restrictive hunting and gun laws = problems with animals. Coyotes will attack people under certain circumstances: 1. rabid 2. starving 3. backed into a corner with no escape route
