oops, didnt look at times, just loved finding place for all of my favorite true type bantams finally.
Booted bantams are also known as sablepoots.

Is it possible to create a large version of a True Bantam such as the Nankin?
It's possible, but would take a very long time to do so. It would be done the same way as you would make a bantam from a large fowl. You could either acquire a large specimen for the breed and breed largest to largest for numerous generations, or you would outcross to a similar breed and breed for Nankin type but select for the larger size.
It's kind of interesting to see a thread revived from years ago and be able to compare myself then with now. I don't necessarily disagree with the comments I made at that time, but they certainly could have been explained more thoroughly and could have been written more efficiently in a less (seemingly) condescending tone.

Thank you. I'm not sure if I am ready for doing too much experimenting and I don't want to harm my birds either.
