Are there bugs your chickens just won't eat?

I'm not really sure what my birds like or dislike when it comes to the insect world.

There are literally none to be found in in the coop or run.

I doubt anything unfortunate enough to crawl or fly in, gets out alive.

Look about for insect feeding on vegative parts of either milkweed or elderberry. First of a given kind might be consumed but second will ellicit a very interesting response and likely not be touched. Then you will see the chicken's capacity for culture.
