I'm so ashamed....I had a fast food sandwich for lunch
didn't eat it all, they got the left over ham and cheese!
There was almost a fight.  I'm ashamed I got the sandwich
for me!

They had most of a clif bar. They'd never had anything like that befor and loved it. Even Ruthie, who scratches to a different drummer, climbed over me to get at it.

Warm oatmeal mixed with tofu, chopped pecans and peanuts mixed in...7 hens and the mash disappeared in less than 3 minutes.

leftover pancake and warm oatmeal with craisins in it

I got 2 eggs today!
They just started laying so this is egg 3 and 4!
Perfect little eggs in perfect little shells in the perfect spot!

Life is to short to fuss and argue over the small things.

Grits from breakfast, and scraps from my MawMaw's house when I visited her today.  wee

What's the two things they tell you are healthiest to eat? Chicken and fish. You know what you should do? Combine them, eat a penguin.

 

Primary breeds I raise/sell eggs and chicks from:  EE, dark Cornish bantams, silkies of mixed color, bantam cochins of mixed color, Naked Neck/showgirls, BLRW bantams, Khaki Campbell ducks, and Coturnix quail.

my gang got everything bagels that I forgot I had in the fridge. they dont like to share and become theives of who gets the biggest peice.big_smile

Actually Grapes are also toxic to dogs and cause kidney failure,

My husband's peanut butter and jelly sandwich!! He went to reach for his soda water and one of our girls jumped like a dog and snatched it right out of his hand. A race to get the sandwich was on of course, it was like watching desperate bacholorettes going for the thrown bouquet at a wedding. lau

Stay-at-home-Mom with 1 wonderful hubby and 2 amazing kids, 1 poodle, 1 schnauzer, 1 cat, 9 Peppered Cory catfish, 3 Easter Eggers, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Black Australorps, 2 Red Star Sex-links, and 1 Speckled Sussex and a MIL downstairs! Never a dull moment at our house.

My son made my chicken avatar out of LEGO's. It is our chicken, Lucy.
