Crele Bantam Cochin Project - Page 12

Connoisseur,

Those are beautiful! When I was thinking about getting my first chickens I saw some Crele Old English and loved their color but I ultimately got Cochins for their sweet dispositions. You have the best of both!

Husband, 4 cats, 1 dog, LF Buff Cochins, Wheaten Ameraucanas, La Fleche, Bantam Cochins; Mottled, Buff, Partridge, Self-Blue project, Mille Fleur porject.

Maybe you could try WestKnollAmy. She was working on them and though they were still quite a ways from becoming the true crele color she had some beauties. Here is a link to her webpage. This is one of the young cockerels from her most handsome Bo.

Thanks, Mike!

as soon as I can sell some of my layers and get my Guineas organized I plan to put the LF back into breeding with some new ladies.
