Geese breeds (eggs, and egg laying)

I am still not 100% sure if I have 2x females or 1x male and 1x female goose. Can I leave the eggs in the nests, or must I collect them if I only have females? Won't she be sitting on them forever while waiting for the eggs to hatch?

Uncollected eggs are ticking time (stink) bombs waiting to go off if they are not fertlized - they can also serve as an attractant to opportunisitic predators.

If you have 2 females, then of course there´s absolutely no point in leaving the eggs in the nest. Make some omelettes!
Your geese. Forget the mounting bit. Does one have a higher voice than the other? Does the one with the higher voice walk all cocky-like? Does that same one tend to put himself in between you and the female with head down, protecting? If not, then you most likely have 2 females.

Milo is more aggressive than lily - our female goose. Which is why I always thought he would be a male. He does come in between us and the female with the low neck movement. I have never listened for his voice seperately. They are always together. But why has he got an egg-like shape at the bottom of his tummy? Does that mean he has an egg there? And then I have 2x females? Or can it be something else? He is always on top when they "mate", and always protective and was aggressive long before winter arrived. He does not have a more upright posture, but his legs are thicker.

What breed are you talking about? some have lobes between their legs gander and goose. maybe that's what your seeing. can you post some pics?

I have domesticated Graylags. The thing is that the egg-like shape at the bottom wasn't there before. It only appeared last week (after the female has laid an egg. Now I might have 2x egg layers!
You very well may, when you find 2 eggs in one day you'll know for sure.

You geese look similar to Toulouse from what I can see in your pic.
