Ameraucana leg color

Should all ameraucana have slate colored legs? A friend of mine just hatched 9 blue eggs and 4 of them have slate colored legs and the other 5 have yellow colored legs. He is not sure if his RIR rooster hooked up with a few of his girls or not. Any info will be great Thanks!
 
I think I read somewhere that Ameraucana's have white skin, so they shouldn't have yellow legs. But someone will correct me if I am wrong.

I just remembered that the hens are Araucana and the rooster is Ameraucana... maybe this makes a difference?
