With several comments about finding it hard to obtain good quality Brabanters, has anyone purchased from Sandhill? Where have you found good quality stock? If our town changes it's regs, this is...
First, watching a runner duck run is awesome. They can find their own food. They aren't like pekins in water. Mine haven't started laying but I heard their decent.
HOMESCHOOL RULES I love homeschooling,we homeschool our son(10)he is in 4TH grade. He has been to PS and I was a substitute there and did the PTO and all of that craziness SO on that note I can say that this is the best thing for our family and no matter I would never go back to PS for my son.God led me to this and I tend to follow through with his plans.YES there are tough times and the road gets bumpy a lot BUT I find my way through,I couldn't do it without the support from my husband. He gets me through the rough times. Our son is very happy with being at home.He doesn't have to sit in a schoolroom for 7 hours and then come home with lots of homework INSTEAD he can stay at home and school for 2 hours and he can even stay in his PJ's if he wants(I DO )He gets to learn more about raising his animals,he gets up ans takes care of them all from sun up to sun down.He is learning HANDS ON,the whole part of real life. Please jump onover to our BLOG and see how we are living life day to day

Haha, and sorry animallover! it will be really different for a while, I had a friend that was home schooled then went to public school... He changed a little But I'm sure it will be fine
And count me in! I LOVE being home schooled, my favorite part is I get to be with my family MUCH more then going to school.
Now I am actually taking a KAT class.. Ever heard of it? Its for home schoolers, they teach it like a school but you sign up for each individual class.
What do you think of meyer Hatchery? I'm getting chicks soon and I need every single little comment you have on the hatchery. (Good or bad!) PM me if you have any comments, THANKS!
