Development of USA Lavender Orpington - Update PICs pg 8 - Page 24

I crossed a grey silkie with a splash orph and got a pullet that looks like a lavender polish! Same color as my lavender orph and looks like my leghorn in size and shape. Topknotch like a polish and feathered legs with extra toe like a silkie. Strange but beautiful!

Hi all,

The thread has really slowed down but spring is upon us, so does anyone have

Joe

I have been selling hatching eggs from my lavenders. They are HinkJc and English lines. I don't like the small heads on the English. I am looking for pastel or butterscotch call eggs and would trade for those.

I'm just focusing on my split chicks this year but hope to have some lavs next spring!

40 feedstore mixed flock layers, including 7 of last fall's unauthorized chicks, 11 SQ LF Black Orps, herd of 11 Maine-Anjou, Shorthorn, and Saler cattle, four cats, and one lazy, loud red healer!

Hatching/adding to my LF Black Orps, and some blues/splashes too. Working on self-blue project Orps & Speckled Sussex. Thinking about trying Diamond Jubilee Orps. Show season complete, points earned!!!

Hi,

Are you mixing the two lines or keeping them separate?

Is it possible PM on the new BYC?

They are mixed. There are pictures in my signature line.
