I didnt know that. I just remember when Edgar picked up someones bird last year at a show. He said"im not gona fall for that" something along that line. We were all new at seramas and had no clue what he was refering to until he told us about feeding before shows to make the birds look like they had bit chests.

no my hen realy did eat all her shavings.... and then she sat on her fat duff when i put her on the table and starred at everyone.... love her dearly but AHHHHHHH barnie.gif

Oh, that makes sense.  That did freak me out when they first arrived and I fed them (the lopsided looking chest).

I really, really really wanted to, but the cost  to get there is too much for me this year. I need to start saving a bit earlier.

Well, the airfare was about $400, rental car $100, and hotel $250,  plus food etc,  and that's just for one person.

is there somewhere on here i can go to see how to per pair for a show  i have never gave a chicken a bath!  oh and do yall  know what dry incubating is?

OLD ENG GAME, 6 BRONZE TURKEYS 4 CALL DUCKS  5 SEBASTOPOL GEESE , COCHINS.  SILKIES, SERAMAS, AND A TRIO OF DUTCH. 3 DOGS, 15 GOATS 22 RABBITS, AND MORE QUAIL THEN I KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH.
