I haven't been able to let mine run with my others as the larger roosters keep trying to mate the itty bitty hens.

Oh, that sounds horrid.  I don't have any roosters.  I plan on getting a Serama rooster, though.  I hope he doesn't try to mate my larger hens!  Especially my PR, she's a meanie.

My family consists of 1 DH, who is more tolerant than anyone should be; 5 children, ages 7 and under and one due any day now; 3 totally annoying dogs, and 12 chickens!

PR is a production red, right? If she's never been around roosters she'd probably 'flock' to him. ;)

I have a little 1/2 Serama 1/2 Bantam rooster in my main flock he mates with the big hens. I haven't hatched out any of them yet but I bet they would be cute.

Oh, I love showgirls!   Still trying to find some white w/bowties around here.

Thought I'd share a pic of my little ones at two weeks old.   Two are on the large size and two are tiny.  Too soon to tell gender yet.  Just love these little guys...can't wait to get more!
