Jessica, you too funny!! Let's just forget about them all and go yo the CC next year with birds and all. During lockdown I try to keep humidity at 60% but if it drops to 45% still seems ok.

I really am going next year, but I dont think that you can take livestock across state lines.  I think there is a check point on the NM/TX border.  Maybe someone can help us with this question.  It isnt an issue for the NM/AZ border because they dont have check points.  Thank goodness.  I have brought so many birds from your house and also from phoenix!!

I love seramas!

Here is a video of the CC finale'.  There were over 350 serama of all varieties entered.  These 12 birds are the champions from each variety.  The black silkied birds are mine.  I had 2 birds(of 4) that made it to the final competition for Grand Champion.  My 10.2 oz. silkied male made Reserve to Grand Champion.

Specializing in black Silkied Serama, also Silkied Serama in several beautiful unique colors.  Silvers/blues, chocolates/browns, Partridge, Silver Duck Wing.

Beautiful birds....I need some advice.....I am getting a dozen eggs tomorrow morning from a local lady in town. I have a new brinsea advance incubator and want to know what steps I need to follow to give these eggs the maximum chance of hatching. Oh, this is my first time ever hatching! We are picking the eggs up in the morning, do I need to keep them warm or cool before putting them in incubator at about 6pm?(that is when I get home from work). She stated they are about a week old as I had a delay in getting my incubator so she held them for me and she is just giving them to me...Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated....Thank you in advance and my wife and I are very excited to do this endeavor......

Jessica, you will have to ask Amy. I think she took birds a couple of years ago. I will have to look into it also. Hoping to go with camper in tow and truck full of birds next year.
