Lovin' Life to the FULLEST! I adore my little Silkies and Showgirls! 2 rescue swans, a tribe of guineas and numerous other rescued critters, including my Livestock Guardian, Tony Llama...YES! I live on a farm! Praising God daily!

Percy looks like he is ready to strike.  Count your fingers when you feed him. If he wants treats he has to accept the whole package (you).   Tell him he'd be yummy in a bowl surrounded by noodles and celery.Forgive me, I am just hungry and crabby.

Actually, in real life, I wasn't near- I was zooming in on him.  He was with his Silkie group, overseeing.  He's not aggressive, just very shy.  He's been handled since he was a week old.  He wasn't shy first couple of months.  I dunno.  I'd like to show him if he's grow up show quality (don't know yet- I've never shown) Anyhow, he can't be flapping and squawking for a judge!   He also poops on me way more than the others. tongue.gif  -Pam

Had to share some photos of a washed white sg roo.

This is Lord Fluffy Butt or LFB... He was "feather dusting" the under side of our diesel truck.
 

This is his pre-bath/over head shot... He is a white, not paint or splash...

 

I see him thinking, "What is this stuff!?!?!"

 

He wasn't very pleased with being washed... His crest makes him look angry.

 

I love this pic, not sure if its the wet feathers or what, I find it to be rather amusing.

 

 

And, finally a full body shot of a soaked SG silkie!

 

This is what he looks like dry and clean.

A prior service military couple trying to wing it on a micro farm with silkies, showgirls and a call duck.

In the incubator: 27 eggs set 4/15 (one on 4/16)

In the brooder: 2 SGs, 1 silkie all white

DH breeding Coop: 3 Black Hens, 1 Splash hen and roo

White Coop: Too Many
