Ameraucanas from Ideal or Privett

I don't know how to link other threads, but I have pics posted of some of the girls at 3wks old and 5 wks old. Oreo is in both groups, being such a ham. They are in the breeds, genetics section, thread EE braggers thread, pg 156 post 1560, and pg 163 post 1678. I will be posting more pics in a couple of weeks, trying to wait until they get old enough that gender may be easier to identify.

I had an EE from Cackle that laid as blue an egg as I've gotten from any of my Ameraucanas. I was selling hatching eggs and had to rehome her because customers were wondering what came out of her blue eggs... BWA X EE mixes... I promised them that the pullets would lay BLUE, but needless to say, they wanted purebreeds so I sold her.

I had 6 EEs from Privett in my last batch. All were the gold/black colors, all layed green eggs & all started at 20 weeks and layed very consistantly. They were a fine addition to my egglaying flock.

Do not order them from Ideal (please) I had some that developed some kind of neurological (spelling) disorder. Don't really know it was neurological but there was somethinmg wrong with them had to destroy 30 of them.
I do however have some that came from Privett via TSC. They are fairly descent chickens most were all colored alike (kind of an off Silver Duckwing).

I hatched my first EE chick today from my EE pullet I got from cackle last August. Beautiful chick.
