We have black sultan chicks. We had a customer bring us eggs from the top breeder in Europe of black sultans. They are NPIP
please email me direct [email protected]
I have white and can get all the white I ever wanted but I also have one blue Roo but haven't found any other color available anywereI am on the hunt (not literally) for black or blue Sultans. I know they are wicked rare outside of Europe, but if they are out there in the USA, I'd like to find a breeder. Perhaps get some eggs as shipping birds gets to be way too expensive and risky. Especially with such a rare breed.

Meyer Hatchery has pure bred with no silkie introductionYeah, finding White Sultans is already rare enough. . . but blue and black. . .
Even hatchery Sultans I'm really on the thought that none are purebred and actually Sultans. Most of them I've been seeing have such obvious signs of having Silkie in them, and if you really think about the traits of both, it isn't hard to sell a smooth feathered Silkie-cross to someone as a Sultan.
Thank you! I will see what I can find out.I knew someone who asked an airline at one time whether she could carry her eggs with her on the plane in a plastic egg carton and they said it was fine, but that was on a domestic flight, not sure whether someone flying in from Europe would be allowed to bring them through customs, and I'm not sure whether shipping them is possible at all. I think the last time I looked into it, the only place having any real success was Greenfire Farms in FL. If anyone would know the answer to importing birds or eggs, it would be them.
