PA Farm Show 2011 - Page 3

So we entered our birds online and the payment form only lists our entries as "commodities". Some of the entries must not have gone through because our number of birds doesnt divide out to the entry fees. hmm So it looks like I'll have to call and see what/and who is entered for the show.

We entered the same way. I had to keep track of my birds on a piece of notebook paper? After they're entered, you have no idea what you just submitted.

We made a list of ours as well and when we totaled up our birds with the entry fees, it didnt add up correctly. This is going to be fun to try and sort out.

You have both of those breeds?  I don't see them in your signature line!  How much $ for 18?  You can pm me if you'd like!  Haven't decided which day we will be there.  Will you be there all week?tongue  Any pix of your birds?

Not entering anything, but I can't WAIT to see all the beautiful birds! I go to college about 45 mins away, and I'm going to bring my two "city boy" friends to the farm show big_smilebig_smilebig_smile
Maybe I'll even wear my BYC Tshirt!!! Good luck to all those entering!!!

Sad when my coop looks better than my house! The proud mamma of 23 fluffy dears, RIR, BO, OEGB, Cochins, Frizzles, Orpingtons and three new unknown babies! And to think it all started with six little chicks...

Hi!!
I'm new to the BYC Forum.  I'll have ducks and geese at the show (Geese - American buffs and brown Chinas... Ducks - Calls, Rouens, white Runners, and Saxonys).  Maybe some chickens next year if I can get some Laryngo vaccine.

I talked to some of my Penn State poultry science friends who are still in school and they said the numbers are up again this year. They said there may need to be a limit next year on the number of birds per exhibitor since there really is no room to expand...and I thought they were at capacity last year!!  I'm hoping the numbers still allow the large ducks to get big cages.

I'll be one of the judges for the Youth Poultry Poster and Scrapbook contests, so hopefully I won't be tied down with that ALL day on Saturday.

Hi Keith and welcome to the forum! BYC is a wonderful place to chat poultry! smile I heard from Phil Clauer that the numbers were up again as well. Maybe us BYC members can get together on Saturday or Sunday sometime?
