^ this one is about as old as yours is now and her shape is between yours and its body shape is somewhere between yours and Mrs. Feathers

^ this one is about a year old you can see here that her body shape is more rounded





im allso starting to think yours might be mixes where did you buy them you can you give us a bit of information of who you bought it from (a hatchery ,farm ,or a gift from friend if so elaborate plz)

Could they be Jersey Giants? I have 2 now that are 7 weeks old and they look just like that. My 9 week old "pullet"  BA has a large comb and a touch of white on her tail feathers. Greenish tint to feathers, as do the Giants. Hatchery quality girls but beautiful!

These are a couple of my BA's when they were about 3 months old.

I am a wife (18 years) a Mama (of my son Coy) and a rural mail carrier for USPS.  I have 3 kittens (Bo, Luke and Daisy) and 17 hens and 6 baby chicks.

those are black sex links ma'm who ever you bought them from lied to you. but i must say they are some of the best large brown egg layers world wide.

I agree with Dan, those 2 with the brown feathers on the breast are sex-links. But they will be gorgeous.

I'm thinking now that they are Sumatra's. The bottoms of their feet are yellow. The little ladies also like to fly and jump on things (especially me). I've read that Sumatra's are skittish, but mine are so sweet and friendly. They don't mind being petted or picked up. They are also a lot smaller than the other pullets I have that are the same age. Doesn't really matter to me what they are. They will be loved. smile

Proud owner of 17 crazy chickens, 15 turkeys, two dogs and a cat! :-)
