de-worming chickens with goat safeguard(fenbendazole)

I would like to go in the coop while everyone is calm and easily `handled and give all my hens a dose of safeguard orally. I want to make sure everyone gets a dose because if I just put it in water, they drink from the goats buckets to, I guess I could deworm EVERYONE at the same time with the goat SafeGuard, is that ok?...
Would I just give a small drop per hen? I imagine a quarter of a ml?

A small drop is not enough, they need 0.23 ml per pound of body weight for 5 consecutive days if you want to treat almost all of the worms that chickens get.

I've never used ivomec 1% injectable, I dont know the dosage to be given orally. However, it can be added to water to worm your chickens; 4cc per gallon of water, leave it out for them to drink 2 days in a row, then discard, it must be their sole source of water during those 2 days. 14 days later dose them with the safeguard 10% suspension liquid goat wormer; 3cc per gallon of water. Leave it out for 2 days, then discard. It must be their sole source of water. Discard eggs for 14 days after using the ivomec, and 14 days after using the fenbendazole.
Just making sure.....is it really 3cc per gallon of water for the Safeguard 10% liquid suspension dewormer for goats when using it for chickens?

Hello!
I realize this conversation was 11 years ago, but am wondering if the equine safegard (what was available at my feed store) can be used in the same way that the goat product can be?
Thank you in advance!
