The third hen is camera shy, unlike my sweet rock hens who kept hogging the lens.
You sure can't tell in it in the pics but the sassy one is actually more beautifully marked than the others, and the comb is a bit pinkish, unlike the others, but nothing drasticly different. In the past, mine were always mild mannered and peaceful, but she jumps on their backs or just crowd surfs right over them if they're in her path, and basically runs roughshod over them whenever the mood strikes. The feedstore said they'd exchange her if she turns out a roo, but she's actually my favorite so that's not gonna happen. Unless there's something obvious you can see right now, guess I'll have to wait and see. Can you tell if pic 1 is a hen for sure?.
