i am starting a project of breeding a black skinned meat chicken, does anyone have advise or information on how best to do it?
 
I have a couple young roosters that would be perfect for you. They are a Silkie, Australorp cross. I also had some Black Australorp RIR crosses that had very dark skin. They were very large to.
 
I say start with Silkies also.

We have had a few Silkies processed and it is kinda strange......
