The American Paint Silkie - Page 121

Just got my first paint chicks--what do you think?  This is when they are one day old, and still showing a lot of pink skin.  If it's going to darken up, how long does it take?

Thanks for looking!  I am super excited to finally realize my dream of starting a paint project!!!

What an amazing story.

Since my oldest Silkie's are only 8 weeks old,  I will let them get a bit older and I will be back with questions.

Just love the story thumbsup.gif

Just thought I would let anybody know that is interested that I put up some Paint silkie hatching eggs on the Auction Yesterday. I am having camera problems so didn't have any pictures up until today.

A few of the pictures were taken today with my phone so aren't the best color. The younger pictures are when the chicks were younger.

Thank  shttp://www.backyardchickens.com/t/643334/auction-updated-pictures-added-9-plus-paint-silkie-hatching-eggs

Mine, too!  I love how 'bright' the paint spots are, and how dark his beak and feet!  What a lovely little cutie!
