Hanging cabbages

I was able to use a ice pick and put a hole in it and put a sting through it. The only problem I has was when I put it in the coop they would not go on the side where it was hung. You could say they were true chickens.

They don't like change very much..was something new that just wasn't going to excite them. I wish they were a bit more adventurous. If I give them some new food, they look at it and shake their heads. Takes about 3 days for them to decided if it is something they like or not. Yay for you and your chickens!

Yea mine didn't care for cabbage either, gave up on that. They do LOVE apples & pears, they do get picky :)
I had a bunch that I couldn't snack on anything in the patio, they'd come running wanting and ate what ever I had. Doritos, potato chips, yogurt, apples, cookies, anything....I experimented once made like I took a bite out of a cabbage leaf, then offered it to them. They LOVED it. Silly birds.
