White Chanteclers, recessive or dominant white?

Quote:
So does this mean that they would be good for a sexlink cross?

No, they need to be silver gened to work for a Sexlink cross and since the other Chantecler colors are Partridge, Buff, and Red which are all gold gened and the Whites should be masking one of these colors, then they are most likly gold gened. And then if so then technically the roosters would work on the Silver hens to make Sexlinks.

And the roosters could also be bred on barred hens to make black sexlinks.

Okay, thanks. I just do not understand the white thing I guess, silver, recessive, dominant. All a mystery to me,
