He has top quality birds. I bought black javas, welsummers, cochins and australorps from him. At the MN State Fair, every third bird was from Urch/Turnland's stock. I have his 2011 information sheet, too, if you need me to look anything up for you.

I found it easiest to reach him by phone. He's an older guy and not so big on technology.

He has amazing birds!!!!! I bought a breed in every class from him, blue cochins, black javas, cubalayas, I dont remember what else, and they were fantastic!!!!! My parents GAVE THEM AWAY when I went to college. sad That was about 7 years ago.

It getting kinda late to order from Mr. Urch, if he cant help you I would recommend you contact Dick Horstman, he is on here or I can pm you his email. Dick has great birds and does very well at the shows..

I just ordered my second batch from Duane Urch, he is still shipping. All the chicks I got from him have turned out gorgeous. For those of you who want show quality he is a judge and a member of the APA.
