Hiiiiii Alton!!!!

I made mac and cheese from his recipe that I found online. He would be happy to know that my chickens enjoyed it, warmed up on a cold day, as much as we did.

I like his homemade sausage recipe!

Now Nifty, that is an excellent gift to give to him!!!!!!!!!! I thought you may need to contact his agent at the Food Network.

I made his brined fingerling potatoes for Christmas they were awesome
2lb fingerling potatoes
2 qt water
1 1/4 lb kosher salt yes 1 1/4 pounds no I don't know why I just do what Alton tells me

15-20 minutes to Nom Noms

I completely agree! I love learning "why" a certain recipe works...that way I can understand how to actually make it correctly

I love those same things about him. He takes cooking and turns it into a science project, which actually has helped get my DH more interested in cooking! And his show CRACKS me up!

Now that he wants to keep chickens... well, we can't help but love him even more. Perhaps some friendly BYCer will offer to provide him with his first flock of chickie-booboos... heheh
