chickens, geese, turkeys, ducks, guineas, sheep, goats, draft and light horses, cats, herding dogs, livestock guard dogs, bees, mealies... (what, no cows? no llamas?), a very cool hubby who takes it all in stride and builds what they need.

Love those Orps!

I don't care why the chicken crossed the road, as long as mine don't!

I used to work for a veterinarian who donated calves for 4-H.  He'd let kids use his facilities to keep the calves, and show them how to train them to the halter and so forth.  I thought it was hilarious at  how those calves were fluffed up for the show.  The amount of hairspray used to fluff those tails was incredible, and shining those hooves were not easy.  Kids loved it, though.

Married to the old dude, 0 human kids, 2 horses, 10 cockatiels, 2 parakeets, 1 sun conure, 1 amazon parrot,  1 eccentric peacock, 1 gsd, 1 pet terrapin, 1 Blue Copper Maran rooster, and 14 world famous Jersey Giants!

Stan the Man will be missed.
