If Timmy had a German Shepherd he wouldn't have been in the well in the first place.

Ameraucanas, FBCMs, BOs, SLWs, BLRW, EEs, bantam Cochins, 1 Beagle, 2 German Shepherd Dogs, 2 cats, lots of honeybees,  2 grown daughters and a very handy and understanding husband!

117* on Feb 18th?  Goodness I thought we were having a warm winter.  ep.gif

7.5 acres in the western Catskill foothills of garden, blueberries, 4 cats plus 26 Black Stars, 3 Comets, 2 RIR, 7 EE's, 2 SS,  and 1 WR  including one very happy EE rooster. In 30 yrs of keepin' chickens I shoulda learned somethin', but unfortunately I'm addicted to the MCMurray catalog.

I think there may be an isolated thermal vent in the vicinity of that one camera.  I should try to harness that energy to heat my house and coops!

Here are a couple pictures from my new cameras.  They take way better pictures at night than my Primos camera, still working out the kinks but so far I love the quality of the night pictures. I am including a daytime photo for comparison.  These two boars are very sporadic on when and what times they come onto my lease here in Germany.  One night I am going to get them, it is just going to be a very late night they seem to visit most often between midnight and 3am.

Something killed my Tom turkey

I left the carcass where it was hidden and saw who the enemy is.

No that's not the murderer

Didn't take it with the game cam, but this is yet another reason my girls live in a high security run.

What is that? Is it a bobcat or a lynx? or some other kind of feline?

Which Came First? The Chicken or the Egg? It really depends, If you lean more towards the religious aspect then the chicken came first, because God created all animals first. But if you lean towards the Evolutionary view then the egg came first because it had to evolve from something.

It's the shape that makes the breed, and the color that makes the variety.
