Prettiest D'Uccle Contest - Winners Announced!

Thread Starter

Let's take a vote on D'Uccles! You may post two birds tops, but please put them in the same post.
Please post a clear, recent picture of your D'Uccle, with no other birds unless they are obviously in the background and not the contestant bird. Please do not post both contestants in the same photo. Put a description above or below the photo that says what the gender, age, and breed (e.g. Porcelain, Mille Fleur) are, and if you want you can put a caption. Posts that do not follow ALL the rules will be considered void.

Any questions post here or PM me.

The contest will end February 27th.

I'll pick a Prettiest Roo, Prettiest Hen, and Cutest/Prettiest Chick. There aren't any prizes, unless someone wants to volunteer them. hide

February 27: UPDATE!!

Here are the results of the contest. They are posted on the 6th page but they're here, too.

Prettiest Rooster:

1. Doug the Chicken Man's "Citron"
2. wwmicasa1's "Merlin"
3. Jenski's "Flash"
4: BWchicken's "Little Rooster Man"

Prettiest Hen:

1. SilverPhoenix's "Freckles"
2. americana-chick's "Rain"
3. AuroraSpring's "Millie Hen"
4. pamperedpoultry's "Black Mottled Hen"

Prettiest/Cutest Chick:

Surprisingly, the sole (one and only, for you non-brainy people tongue) contestant for this class was GypsyChick's "Sterling".
Here are the results:

1. GypsyChick's Sterling

Thank you all for entering! Congrats to the winners! All the photos were very good and I was unhappy that I could not make some of the others winners as well, but I figured 4 winners for each class would be enough. smile

If you want to see what breeds I have, go here! http://www.backyardchickens.com/a/the-egg-box-farm

I dream of a day when chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.
