They look like runners. Can I breed them to something else or should I try to find more runners. They are both males. They are tane with white around their neck and up the back of their head. I want a duck that will hatch eggs. From what I have read runners are not broodie. So what would you cross them with.

Well if you plan on selling any of them your gonna want to get more runners. but if your gonna keep offspring i guess it wouldn't matter to have mutts. i have black mallardxRunner and she is really sweet. If you get more your gonna want a 3 hens to: 1 drake ratio that way the girls aren't gettin tore up from all the breeding.

What I've read runners very very rarely go broody but they can but that doesnt mean they will wink

Bantam ducks are broody smile
