Hi! I'm from Gladewater Tx, its kinda halfway between Longview and Tyler. I have a pair of self blue dutch bantams named Jack & Ella and just today got a couple of Silkie hens (hopefully) named Willow and Sally.

) and everything is pretty worn, so I'll be ripping out the old and putting in new. Yea!! Now my flock in the "main coop" consists of 11 laying hens and 2 light brahma roos. My "brooder coop" has 11 marans (BC and splash), 10 RIR, 10 barred rock, 4 frizzle silkies, and 10 EEs. I'll wait til this fall to order more Maran and Light Brahma chicks. I'm pretty sure the breeds I'm going to zoom in on will be Marans & Light Brahmas (which I'm very interested in showing) and EEs (just for fun). The silkies are for the kids
