Think I youtube bowling for vulture, they do a good job of cutting the Pixar parts out of a mediocre sappy disney flick!

Plus free as rotten fruit!
Ah, yes. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen with James Bond. Yes, interesting. Like the guy running away in scale mail. They didn't cover the back! Don't run away. Oops, dead.

Have you seen Mystery Men?

Did I typo and say Extrodinary? @RUNuts Maybe I should set you in front of my fence, ask you a question and see how you cower or does the shoe fit you? We are talking difefrent movies but both seem to know better than the other "LEAGUE OF GENTLEMAN" I'll speak louder so you hear me better like a good merican does when in paris!

Got it qued up on tubi now, going to see if I take your recomendations in the future.

Based on that recommendation, you won't. It is an amusing flick, but not one to watch twice. Has several good scenes, but I await your critique.

I shall go look at the League of Gentlemen.

ETA: Yes, 2 quite different genres. Looks interesting and similar to The Italian Job which you will like better than Mystery Men.

Try this one.

"Bowling for buzzards" - got the species wrong.

Same general Genre comedy, League of Gentleman is twisted Brit Wit similar to Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels was a series ran for 2-3 seasons. Ain't no dang Extrodinay in what I am talking about. Ben Stiller flix are sometime worth a watch got tired of commercials on tuvi or whatever free stream I had, sound quality was horrid. So just rented cause I can't be a$%ed like that if I just spend $4 instead.

I'll speak louder again for you so you can understand me this time, as if I am trying to commicate with a man on the streets of Berlin. League of Extrodinay gentlemen was pretty good I do agree with you there.

oh good I reread your latest post we are talking same same this time.

I do think we married some cards! I think mine I'll just call bleeding heart for short. She didn't like my plan to put the incubator into long term storage or just ebay it off because apparently she wants me to keep it for random eggs that might fall out of trees here in a wind storm. She is something of a crazy hoarder.

Also she really lost it on me when I was on the phone the other day with my Jeep guy too. I'm trying to have a conversation with my guy and figured I wanted I to trade up for a Gladiator cause it has a bed and insane towing capacity and does for me anything better vs. a Wrangler.

Bleeding heart was jumping around waving her arms like she's landing planes on the deck of an Aircraft Carrier and really annoying me. She keeps saying she wants horses and I half built her a stable already. Am I crazy here or do horses require trailers too? Last I checked I'm still wearing man pants when did bleeding heart get crazy ideas that I need to ask permission to make a decision on my own and in her best interest? Maybe it was a mistake putting her name on a title due to my chivalerous nature.

Also a bit annoyed with Jeep too, cant wait til its three years old. Supposedly its 385hp, but they limit them to 75% of 385hp with a frigging computer. If I decide to chip it to what they advertise and sold me I void that warranty frigging crooks. I should start a class action suit or something blaming them for harming people who bought a car with 385hp because they needed it for their specific application and were harmed using that tool with only 288.75 hp. I tell you what this lady was right!

Morning Allen!
Sounds like a riot. Lock, stock & two smoking barrels was a funny show. Time to watch again. You will have a diverse flock with Malays, Ayami and Silkies running around the yard.

To give you an update, 23 out of the 40 Barnyard surprise eggs hatched and it looks like I'm approaching the 75% cockerels. I got the 5 hens I wanted for sure. Maybe an extra. Lots of red combs at 4 weeks old. I still have no idea, so it will be a pleasant surprise in 4 more weeks when I count them. I tried to do a head count, but with 16/23 being mostly black, I'm clueless. And can't tell the boys from the girls yet.

The ranch were I got the eggs from had someone dump a game bird rooster. So multiple roosters in the flock these came from. I got one fake (bantam/tiny/miniature) chicken running under the others. He or she is half the size of the largest hatch mates. Quite diverse.

Did you watch The Lion King? In it they "bowl for vultures" to watch the birds scatter. Crazy Lady's puppy likes charging the chicken fence and watching them flush. Bowling for chickens if you will. Glad the fence is still holding.
I wanted to return to your post here regarding your update. Don't you have barred rocks in your barnyard surprise hatch? I'm not a chicken ID expert but that was my best guess. I know you got plans for all those boys you seem to have so at least you are into this with the right mindset. I'm kinda getting over my altruistic magical thinking that if I incubate 10 eggs and 10 hatch I wont have to deal with too many roos ways. Then happy to go hop into my gas guzzler and drive 10 miles for a chemical laden watachick sandwich. I am going to have to get over my ick factor and man up and some day to complete the whole "process". I'm thinking of reading more on the meat bird forum if not what am I going to do when the zombie apocolypse happens go vegan? Wife is working on a garden but we are still sucking there. I am hoping I can at least manage to grow some lentils this year. I'm going to see if a pack of HEB brand lentils will make a lentil harvest as I am that cheap too. If not I am going to have to bite the bullet and actually pay for some heritage seeds that my black thumb will probably kill. Also have noted that TSC sorghum/milo scratch doesn't breed true from its seed either. Seems Bayer/Monsanto got to that stuff but at least since it actually grows here might try a heritage breed seed and violate someones patent.

Bleeding heart is funny she gives me ear color reports because I told her I'm culling I mean moving to the bachelor pad anyone lacking that trait. And she is only allowed to keep 3 boys.

By the way the lady I got my eggs from was telling me silkies make such great stock and I thought she was a hoot. I am curious about the melanistic bones. But pegged her for a healing crystal kook as she was telling me about the magical healing properties of silkie stock soup. She advertised em on craigslist as show quality but I am thinking I got inbread mutts based on the incidence of 20% genetic misfires. My "show quality" variety pack seems to have come with every and all type of silkie feathers on them so 17 was the right number for me. Now I have a chance to decipher their colors and the breeder shinola speak discussing their birds. Seems I got all Smooth, frizzle, frazzle feathered birds and one hard feathered one. Don't ask me why I got so many blues(grey) in my pack. I need to get a Phd here to be able to really understand more about gene expression and dominant vs resessive traits and am guessing that in the late 1800's someone probably used this breed to write a book on it and it was a charles darwin awakening moment for mankind. Even though chinese people been keeping this bird for 5000 years. Funny how nothing ever gets "discovered" until someone from the west finally figures it out. I do know enough biology that figuring out blood types ain't no mystery.

Those silkie nutjobbers really do like to blow alot of smoke describing colorations. Who would ever call a white bird with spots a "splash"?

Excuse me if I repeat myself a lot in this thread with the topics I covered, trust me it is worse for my wife. I haven't been able to remember where I left my shoes or car keys since some time in my 40's either.

Rod Stewart is a roo(cull) because he has an oversized red walnut comb 10x bigger than any of his mates and obvious red wattles. I haven't checked his ears yet to see if they are even blue, but at 12 or so weeks I have a few with blue ears starting to show. I now am getting free lazymans ear color reports from bleeding heart, and I don't even have to raise a finger because she only gets to keep 3 boys tops with her pet flock. :D
