Happy Freakin' Friday Everyone!!!!! I'm so ready to pay homage to the Sleep Late Goddess bow.gif course with having to milk now, that means prolly no later than 8 am, but, hey, it beats 5:30 am :)  Anyone have any exciting plans this weekend?? which reminds me, I need to google a briggs and stratton tiller - we went to till the garden last week and discovered the motor is frozen he.gif  we just used it the weekend before with no issues.  I heard we might get some rain Sunday - wouldn't that be wonderful??

We put down 2 maran hens this past week.  I know it may sound harsh, but I just don't have the 'want to' to have to nurse them.  They had major eye issues.  I have a friend down the road who nurses any chicken I give him and he gets to keep the chicken, but they have more than they can properly take care of and I've had issues with this batch of chickens since I got them, so it didn't hurt my feelings any to have to put them out of their misery.  My ex said he didn't particularly want to do it because they had such good coloring - what?  wait a minute?  you mean you've actually been listening to what I've been talking about????? that's a first lau.gif

I don't care why the chicken crossed the road, as long as mine don't!

Nice & chilly this morning. I went outside to check on the gang & it feels great. Just hope we don't have to wait another month for another northern. Now, we just need rain.

I'm out of eggs. But I know where some brown ones are. I now raise big Ol' Honkin' Bob Whites & Layed back Coturnix. Pray For Rain In Texas!

It was 46 here yesterday morning around 0700 and 54 when I looked this morning around 0800.  Chickens are loving it.  And eating a ton!

Well I'm still going nuts trying to get pictures put on here. No go  I've never had a problem until a week ago & now I can't put any up, even tried to put some in an album on my profile but that won't work anymore either. Has anyone else suddenly had this problem on here?barnie.gifhe.gif

I couldn't find a way to put pics of my newly hatched babies on here this morning. I thought it was just me.

BYC had a policy that you couldn't post pictures until you had a certain amount of posts. I don't know if that is still the policy or not but that may be why in your case you can't get pictures to post...... and welcome to the Texas threadfrow.gif

Yes, must have 10 posts to be able to post a picture. And I see that now, you have those 10.
