LOL..MaggieRae...
My hubby had been getting on me about not planting the garden yet....I told him, nope the mesquite hadn't bloomed yet, we will still get another freeze....
Sure enough, we did...

Please add me to the Texas list. I reside in Ballinger, TX in Runnels County.

Do not have any chickens yet, BUT I'm working on it. DH is dragging his feet.

I have spent quite a lot of time reading on this forum. I'm a newbie with NO experience with chickens. Look forward to learning more here!

Trust me, you'll find that plenty of people on here began just as you are now. And now they have many chickens and are VERY addicted.

Hey Boo-Boo's mama....I am a neighbor....litterally....I am in Miles. I am new to this whole chicken life too, but boy o' boy is it fun. My DH was a bit aprehensive at first, but is now just as hooked as I am.

Any of y'all looking for a rooster? I've got a 39 week old australorp rooster who is as sweet as a button. I can carry him around anywhere. He's just too rough with my 7 gals. I'm sad to have to see him go but I've run out of options.

I'm asking $20 just so he doesn't go to a dinner plate. I don't know many people who'd pay $20 for dinner they'd have to kill and pluck.
