So great to meet all of you peeps! And yes, I too wish there was more time for more meeting and questioning and chatting in general. But I had a great time with you all! Looking forward to next time! :-)  ~ susan

Well, it sounds like you all had a great time...I am jealous! I was at work and I guess I should be grateful I have a job, but I sure would have loved to meet all the middle TN chicken addicts that came to the meeting. Maybe I can come to the March meeting, on the 12th? Well, crapola...just checked my work schedule and I have to work that weekend too! Someone let me know if the 12th is the date for sure and I will see if I can swap a day and get it off. Shelly I wish you had taken a pic of everyone, too.

Do you have any specifics of this Cookeville get together? If anyone has anything good for sale I may drive the hour and a half to go big_smile Since I get my incubator tomorrow I could get some hatching eggs...

I don't big_smile it was just an idea but I'm sure we could get one for over there.Maybe those of us that would want to do Cookeville could post dates available there are lots of places over there we could meet...Give me some ideas and I'll be over there tomorrow as well so I can do some snooping on where a crazy group of chicken people would be welcome
Feb weekends I'm booked with Girl Scouts  I'm ok with March dates right now
I have lots of good chickens for sale ...some will talk to you..others only complain when stepped on..then some only look cute but none are bad chickens

The downside of Cookeville is that we will likely lose our more western middle TN folks.  Cookville is about an hour and a half from Murfreesboro, so tack on another hour for the Columbia and Joelton crowd.  I'm all for rotating it around some though just to keep it fair.  I'd say we could meet in Nashville, but they have passed some law that says you can't buy/sell/trade chickens out of your car (among other things).  If we are bringing chickies we have to stay out of Davidson county.  roll

So what do y'all think about one of these dates for the next meet up?
February 26th
March 12
April 2
April 23
April 30

Do we need another poll?  smile

I hate Davidson Co. somad that's where I got my first speeding ticket, I never got my warning!

I think we should have it in March or April, I should have more spending money then big_smile and hopefully not as much school work hide
