Lori~ Sorry not ignoring you just very busy! I can catch him anytime and yes we can meet in the middle I am in Carthage and you are in Murf.? If so maybe Lebanon? Saturday would be the best day for me but I am flexible.

I could use some more guineas if anyone local has eggs.

We live in Manchester, TN and are interested in starting to raise chickens and guineas. The problem is that most every place we have looked has minimum order of 15 to 25. We are wanting to start small but with several different breeds and tht seems pretty hard to find.

When we found this site we thought maybe we could find a local source!

So, does anyone have female Buff Orpington, Ameraucana or easter eggers, Rhode island Red, and Guineas. We are idealy hoping to get two of each chicken bread and four guineas.

We are excited to start raising them after reading how much everyone on here seems to love them!

I hope someone nearby has some so we can get started soon.

Raven- Donna is right we are in the burgs- Lewisburg but Murf is about halfway to you. I am thinking of running up to Sparta. I have to get a cage back from a friend and eggs from someone else. Do you want to meet at the interstate exit that goes to Carthage? This coming Saturday I have to be at the poultry show in Dickson. With me almost coming to you, would a day other than Saturday be okay?

Check out the goose we hatched and the little African I bought to keep her company.

I have blue and splash ameraucanas and mostly black EEs.  I also have an order of buff orps, barred rocks and spangled hanburgs due in around May 1st.  I can probably add to that order if you would like.  Just PM me if you are interested.

I am just west of of Murfreesboro.

Thanks!

Anne,

You crazy woman. You are going to be awash in chicks. Can I come play at your house?

Becky,

I don't know yet I have to coordinate the other two people first then I will let you know. It is the white one right?
