That would be great Donna! I was a little worried about leaving them in the car and sure didn't want to carry them around.
I am hoping to get the SFH chicks from Carol do you know where she is and how hard it will be to meet up with her?

She is in Franklin.  I don't think it would be a bad drive for you from the fair grounds.  I have not been to her place so I don't really know how far out she is.

Lot's of people have posted about Poultry Hollow, and it's a mixed bag of comments. Some folks love them and some hate them, yet others are just happy to get some chickens. You can search them on here and google as well and just read reviews and draw your own opinions I guess.

Thanks.....I'll probably go there and check them out myself, they don't have a minimum and I need pullets not chicks....really really want a SLW and a Polish and they say they have both and I don't know where else to get some that are not chicks.

WOW.....just read this posting....thanks for the info. I will definitely rethink my trip there. Mainly it was only about an hour away and Foley's would be 2 1/2 for me....but I would rather travel further for healthy well cared for pullets. So sorry for all the trouble you've had.

yes I would definitely want to drive further and know that I will get healthy birds than to drive a shorter distance and take a chance on getting a sick bird and possibly giving to my current flock

But if you was plwnning on foley birds. They are not the same prices as you are used to. I bought a pair of slw for 100, 2 pair of started BLRW for 100
Its just depending on quality and age. He might have some more blrw hens for sale?

There are only 3 more that I want but since my larger coop is still a month away I have some time. I plan on keeping the smaller one for the new guys and gradually introduce them to the others.

Maybe by then someone on the blog will have some tips on where I can get them or I'll be visiting Foley....
