Hey Mid TN friends - just letting you know I follow the thread but rarely contribute & enjoy the content & info.

Throwing this out there, in case, you ever make it around the Chattanooga etc. area (I'm more in the Harrison/Birchwood, north Hwy.58 area) but I have or will have quite a few MOTTLED BANTAM COCHINS (1st gen & many carry MF gene) needing/looking for good homes.  Price will  all depend on age, quality, sex etc.

I have several pics (sligthly dated) of my flock/breeders in my albums here but here is an example of a 4wk old (at time of pic a couple weeks ago, currently not for sale) of what the 3week olds will look like soon:  Holler back if you or anyone you know are looking for Cochins.  My cochins have come from either eggs or older shipped birds sent to me from several of the very active, serious breeders here on BYC.  Thanks

Got my 1st chickens June 2012

Bantam Cochins (Mille Fleur, Black, Blue Mottled, Brown/red, Brown/yellow)

LF Cochins

Laying hens = RIR - Buff Orpington - Ameracuana - Dominiqer- Buff Brahma

Have you tried in the BST Section?  I don't know of anyone with Jap Bantams.

Hey Donna-

Got my first chick. One of the NH. When we locked them down I told Stephanie I was going to go ahead and put that one in there but I didn't think it would hatch cause it was really pointy and narrow. Sure did make a liar out of me.
