I have in the past lost guineas and chickens that I didn't pen up at nite so here in my solution....I built a large pen with rabbit wire, covered that is connected to a small house for them at nite. I have a door for me to get into and also a small door for them to get from pen to house, and it can be shut off if I want. I just got 6 new baby guineas 2 days ago, they are in outside pen, and are very happy, already eating, pruning themselves and catching bugs. As I have 3 adult chickens and 1 make guineas rooster, I keep the door shut for now till they get used to each other. Most important thing is that they are penned up at nite or varmits will get them. They will go into the trees and the owls will pick them right out of the trees at nite. They must be protected to insure their survival.
