my chicken was holding her eye shut. i gently opened it to find her eye was clear, no discharge but under the inside lid was a white membrane. she can open her eye but prefers to keep it closed. she is eating fine and drinking. she is a buff orpington about 8 months old. it looked almost like it had come detached??? any home remedies? one vet said give her tetracycline in the water, another said bring her in. i posted something on hatchaholics but did not get any responses. i hope someone out there can help.
