Well, it was getting close to end of harvest so I let them in the garden a little early this year. I needed a piece of that garden fence for another purpose. Figured they would finish off the tomatoes but probably wouldn’t hurt the onions. Wrong! Much to my surprise the next day every one of my beautiful Walla Walla sweet onions were uprooted and left on top of the ground. They didn’t eat them, they just wanted to uproot them, EVERY SINGLE ONE.
