Ivomec 1% injectable 50ml dosage is 1cc/ml per quart of water or 4cc/ml per gallon of water. The mixture is the only water the birds get for 2 days. Retreat in 14 days for lice/mites.

Since the subject is the Ivermectin dosage I wonder if someone would help me. I have 24 chickens (22 hens, & 2 roos) that are considered large fowl & I need to know the dosage for them using ivermectin pour-on.
Also, where would someone find the generic ivermectin injectable?
thanks so much.

For large fowl, dosage for ivermectin pour on is as HBuehler stated 6 drops on the back of the neck, it must go on the bare skin so that it can be quickly absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream. Both ivermectin pour on and ivomec injectable can be purchased from jefferslivestock.com

I use the pour on for my peafowl 1 cc for adult peafowl on the back , on the skin. Chicken size 1/2 cc don't eat eggs for 2 weeks.
