I have 8. (See my sig) But the rooster is going in the spring. He's a brat and I'm not putting up with him anymore! And I was going to get a few more chicks in the spring anyway, since we didn't get as many last year as the coop was built to hold. I wanted to try 1 Austalorp, 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Gold Laced Wyandotte, 1 Light Brahma, and then when I decided to get rid of the rooster, I figured an EE would be nice to repalce him with. Somehow, when I placed the order, there ended up being 2 EE's. Chicken math strikes again! LOL But this has to be it. No. More. Room. None. No place to put another coop. I'm putting the calculator away, since I can't do math of any type without it!  lol

Yesterday, I thought I had 4 girls.  But I've finally come to the realization that my Cuckoo Marans is a roo.

So one Buff Orpington, one Black Jersey Giant and one Easter Egger.  Unfortunately, the CM will have to go.  No roos allowed in my city.
Hopefully, I can replace him with a Barred Rocks, a Cochin or another BO.
