What is the best % of protein, etc. in a rooster feed?

Also, anyone like a particular brand?

I've been married to my best friend since October 18, 2009.

Our critters include 1 dog, 5 cats, 1 rabbit, and an ever growing number of chickens!

You can feed them Layer feed or all purpose feed.....

I like Evergreen rooster feed...if I didn't mix my own (or when i run out of and do't have time to mix) I use this.  It has a variety of grains and such in it.

Do roosters need the 16% protein, even though they don't lay?

Evergreen has two types one is a "grower" with 19% and the other is a maintenance with 14%

Their real names are Gamecock conditioner  formula 19  and gamecock maintenance formula 14
