Up for your consideration are 12+ assorted color eggs from my show winning bearded Silkie bantam flock. Eggs will ship priority on Monday, 1/31. Colors available are partridge, buff, blue/splash & white. There are no blacks as they are still not laying & I expect the majority of these eggs to be from the blue/splash and white pens. The flock is NPIP certified and AI tested clean. I do show my birds and in recent shows my birds won BB & RB (12/09), BB 4/10, & at my last show in October, won BV blue, BV & RV buff, BV partridge & RV white. A pullet hatched from a white pair I sold was the show champion fowl at the Wa. County Fair in Oregon this summer. I've been getting some really nice chicks this year and all the birds pictured were hatched from the same breeding flocks your eggs will come from. The silkies in my breeding flocks are all carefully chosen for their own individual merits and even more importantly, their ability to produce quality offspring. I do pack eggs extremely well and my customers are reporting good success. A lot of my customers are returning for more eggs, which makes me very happy:) I cannot guarantee your hatch rate, but I will do everything in my power to get your eggs to you in good shape. Please be prepared to pay via paypal at auction's end - no e-checks please as they take too long to clear. You can see more of my silkies at http://www.catdancesilkies.com.

I am currently sorting through pens and will have a lot of nice young silkies for sale so please contact me if you are looking for something in particular. I also have some very nice white cockerels right at breeding age that are looking for new homes:)

The partridge cockerel pictured below was purchased by Michelle at Reese Poultry who showed him to a 2nd place at the Ohio nationals! Way to go Michelle:)

A stunning white cockerel hatched in March - watch for him at the shows!

Your farm is absolutely gorgeous!! And your birds look wonderful. Just think I'm going to have to get me some silkies! When would eggs ship on this auction? I'm going to be firing up my incubator for a Saturday start. Think they'd be here in Calif., by then?

I hatched a partridge from your eggs that looks precisely like the show-winning pullet you have there...I'm going to give away my age and tell you she's named 'Cotter.'

As in, 'Welcome Back.'

Ok - I guess I'll give away MY age and admit I remember Cotter very well - Vinnie is a little older these days LOL. For those who have inquired about the eggs - I will honor color requests as much as possible. Eggs will ship tomorrow and should be to most destinations by Wednesday. I ship 18 eggs on a 12+ auction and will most likely have more eggs available if the buyer or someone else wants to purchase some to be shipped this coming week. I can fit 4 dozen eggs in a large priority box, but shipping gets more expensive if you are out on the east coast (around $20 is what it has been costing to ship 4 dozen). If you are closer to Wa., I should be able to ship more eggs for the same price.

If anyone is looking for a show quality white cockerel, I have 2 full brothers to the boy pictured last in this listing & they are awesome. I would like to keep them, but they are too closely related to my hens to use here and think they could make a wonderful contribution to someone's breeding program. Thank you everyone for your comments and interest!

I would like to give Karen credit for helping me to build my silkie flock with some of the most beautiful show birds!! I always have great hatches from her eggs with very high fertility. Shipping from Wash. state to Florida and generally I have at least 90% develop.

These 2 black pullets....age 2 months and 2 1/2 months came from her eggs:

I am visiting my sister in the Tri Cities area, where are you located, feel free to pm me. It would be nice to be able to pick up some eggs, instead of having them shipped.
Thanks,
Christine
